Today Brian and Marge from Community Rail Lancashire came into school to finalise all the details for our trip! Excitement in class 5 is rising and with the bedroom arrangements sorted, goodie bags packed and day trips planned...we're well on our way!

More recent developments include an invitation by Paul Alzer from the Netherlands to the www.gaiazoo.nl ! We'll be taking a tour around Heerlen on Thursday morning and visiting the zoo afterwards. All this has been funded by Parkstadt Limburg and includes being treated to lunch!
This week we've also been writing letters to the German children we are due to meet on the Wednesday of our trip and even been informing some VIP's about our adventure!
